Trending

CloudCheckr's trending reports allow you to quickly see how your EC2, S3, RDS, Glacier inventory and/or Support Cases have fluctuated over the past 7, 30, 90, 180, or 365 days. The data for these charts begins populating daily as soon as you start using CloudCheckr and can be easily exported into a CSV file.  Below are examples of EC2 and S3 trending reports.

EC2

CloudCheckr uses the detailed billing report to see your EC2 usage across the complete consolidated billing family. For payer accounts, you will be able to see all the EC2 usage for all the payees and for payee accounts, you will only be able to see the usage for the payee.

This information is broken up across several reports. You can review the data by time or instance which shows the history of the number of hours instances were running by hour and or by day.  Advanced filtering options allow you to filter/group by AMI, instance ID, region, availability zone, tags, instance type, platform, pricing type and date range.

Finally we provide a trending view into the resources associated with this instances, such as EBS Volume/Storage,  Elastic Load Balancers/ IPs, Active Reserved Instances, AMIs and EC2 Security Groups.

S3

For S3 you will be provided with usage and cost trends from 7 days up to 365 days. This will also include how many objects are being stored and how much storage is being utilized within S3. Based on your filtering options, CloudCheckr will provide you a Predicted  S3 Growth for Cost and Usage.
